Our admission policy is agreed every year by Trustees and placed on our website. Stakeholders are invited to make comments on any changes to our admissions policy that Trustees propose. There are two admission policies below relating to previous year admissions, in-year admissions for the current academic year, and for current Year 6 joining Year 7 in September.
Admissions for Year 7 for September are administered by the local authority. Please go to Hampshire School Admissions for more information.
Distance Criteria: The students with the furthest distance admitted to Year 7 during the main round, March 2026, was approximately 3.733 miles away. Please note this distance is as the crow flies.

For parents/carers making an in-year application the school will aim to notify parents of the outcome of their application in writing within 10 school days of receipt from the Local Authority, however notification must be in writing within 15 school days.
If your application for a place is unsuccessful, you have a statutory right of appeal. Information on how to appeal is below.
