In my role I am dedicated to ensuring that every student feels supported and valued in our school community. My role encompasses a variety of initiatives aimed at fostering an inclusive environment where all children can thrive.
I am incredibly proud of our pastoral support team which encompasses Student Services, First Aid, Reset Room, the ASCEND programme, The NEST and our Restorative & Reflective room. I feel incredibly honoured to work with such an amazing team of people who are dedicated to supporting our students' wellbeing.
Every member of the team works closely with our students and their families to address any barriers to education, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to engage fully in their learning journey.
I am a mum to my 29 year old son and a step mum to my 15 year old step daughter. My family is everything to me and I love spending quality time together with them.
Kindness is my favourite of the Wildern attributes. Kindness is free and it can make such a difference to how people feel. Kindness spreads kindness.
There is a quote that sums up how I respond to people in every aspect of my life.

Mrs L Duck
Hello! I’m Ms Duck the Head of Student Services/Student Hub. I have been working at Wildern for 8 years. My role is to help ensure that every student feels supported, valued, and able to thrive during their time at Wildern. I oversee the Student Hub, where my team and I support students, from wellbeing and pastoral care to attendance, behaviour, uniform, and day-to-day school life. No two days are ever the same, and I enjoy working with students to help them overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.
I love working with young people and being part of the Wildern community.
I have three children, two of them attended Wildern, my son is 25 and works for a local firm, my middle daughter is 19 and is studying at a performing arts university, and my youngest daughter is 13 and is currently in Year 9.
Outside of school, I enjoy cooking with my partner, exercising, and taking long walks with him and our dog Dexter.

Hi, I am Miss Langdown and I am a Behavioural Support Officer at Wildern School. I have worked here for almost 3 years and I am so proud to be part of such a caring, friendly and supportive team and so privileged to be surrounded by our amazing students.
Being a Mum of 4 incredible teenagers, I totally appreciate the pressures that young people face in today's society. Family is everything to me and I love spending time with my children.
My emotional, social and psychological well being and the well being of my children is vital. It is so important to look after yourself inside and out.
To help achieve this, I workout regularly, which includes pilates and swimming. I eat healthily and ensure I have a good sleeping pattern. I have started to meditate and practice mindfulness, which helps maintain awareness and appreciate the life I have.
I am a big fan of Wim Hoff so I practise his breathing techniques and have cold showers to help kick start my days!

Miss S Avery
Hi, I am Miss Avery and I have been the Attendance Officer at Wildern School for just over a year.
Professionally, I am proud to say that I passed my BA Hons Degree in Person-Centred Counselling and Psychotherapy with First Class Honours, whilst I was working as a Youth Support Counsellor within schools in Romsey. This counselling background has been invaluable in developing a necessary understanding of the multifaceted and diverse world that our kids live in, which can be so tough to navigate and experience for them.
I feel that I have been able to use my skill as a counsellor in my role as Attendance Officer in my communication with students feeling vulnerable for any reason. I have regular contact with students each morning and I am really enjoying building positive and supportive relationships with them. I hope these connections help students feel valued, supported and encouraged to attend school regularly and arrive on time, reducing stress upon them and their parents.
I am a mum to four intelligent, witty, loving and diverse young people, who make me proud every day. They remind me that, even though the world for young people can be difficult, it can also be exciting, interesting and unique.

Hello! My name is Mrs Parsons, and I'm one of the First Aiders here at Wildern. I have worked here for 4 years within the Pastoral team.
I am a former student of Wildern and absolutely love my job! Every day is different, and I love supporting our amazing students.
I have two wonderful children, who attend Wildern. A 15-year-old daughter and a 13-year-old son, who are both football crazy! My husband is a referee and football coach, so needless to say; our household is never quiet!

Hello, I am Mrs Buckley, one of the First Aiders, and you will find me in the First Aid Room 2 days a week. I have been part of the Wildern family for 6 ½ years and I love supporting the students within school.
I am married and have 2 grown-up children. In my spare time I enjoy going to the gym, walking and spending time with my friends and family.

Miss B Cooper
Hi everyone, I’m Miss Cooper. I have worked at Wildern for 6 years now! A lot of you might know me from previously working in student services where I would support all staff and students within the school.
I am now proud to say I have the role of managing The Nest which is one of our alternative provisions here at Wildern. I have worked very hard to achieve this role and I am so excited to start this new adventure. In The Nest we work with students who struggle in the main school environment. We do this by Nurturing, Engaging, Supporting and Teaching each student. . I love working in The Nest as I get to build incredible relationships with amazing students who just need a little more time and understanding, and make a difference to their school life.
I live with my partner who is in the Navy. He is often away working so I have a lot of time to myself. During this time I look after my wellbeing. I do this by:
● Colouring - especially disney colour by numbers
● Spending time with my family
● Cooking
● Watching football - both on television and going to matches.
A quote I love is: “Don’t let anyone dull your sparkle”

Hello my name is Mrs Page and my role of Inclusion manager is to ensure when sanctions are put in place as part of our school behaviour policy that the students still have the opportunity to continue with their learning while reflecting on their behaviour.
I have many years’ experience of behaviour management, and within a secondary school behavioural team, I ensure that I encourage the students with their behaviour and learning. Support them with overcoming barriers to their learning.
Also part of my role is working alongside Student Services. They are an amazing team who are really supportive, friendly and caring. I was a child minder for many years so I have a vast knowledge of how to support students and I love working with children.
I am a mum of four, 3 daughters aged 27, 24 and 15 and one son of 32, and a Nan to two wonderful girls.
In my spare time I like going for walks at the beach. Spending time with my family and relaxing.

My name is Mrs Loveridge, I'm very proud to be part of the student services team , working alongside the other ladies in the hub. I have been part of the Wildern family for four years now.
In my role as Behaviour Support Officer I enjoy supporting students through the school. As in my previous role in learning support, I continue to be a supportive and understanding face to help students from all year groups with any support or challenges they may face during their school day.
I enjoy spending time with my family outside work. I have 2 cats, who are a big part of our family who are called Marmalade & Mable.
I'm also a very active person and enjoy lots of walking and exploring the great outdoors and sea swimming in my spare time. I love cooking for my family and friends.

Mr M Tisson
Hello, I'm Mr Tisson, and I'm excited to be joining the school as the new Behaviour Support Officer. I am passionate about helping young people overcome challenges, build positive relationships, and achieve their full potential. I believe every student deserves to feel safe, supported, and understood.
Outside of school I am a stand up comedian and actor which i have been doing for several years so expect lots of humour from me but not too much as I have a job to do!
I also have 2 horses called Jack and Biz and I am originally from East London so don't mind the cockney accent!
